Colorful Woven Basket
These unusual baskets are handmade in Kamwokya, Uganda. I was first given one as a gift and having never seen anything quite like them, had to meet the innovative women who made them. They meticulously take apart plastic woven sacks and use the strands to wrap and decorate the wound grass of the basket form.
