Cassandra has over 15 years experience as a small business entrepreneur.

She first traveled to East Africa in beginning of 2020 with Give Love, a nonprofit that trains and equips communities for ecological sanitation. Through this work, she met countless people striving to make a difference in their own communities; people eager to learn, eager to teach, but also often lacking resources to see all their plans come to life.

She founded La Lona to give a boost to these leaders and connect them with the resources and people to help them turn those plans into reality.
